2006-07-13 [Bookwyrm]: Paganism is not a branch of Celtic Witchcraft. Paganism is, basically, a name for all religions that worship mutliple deities. Wicca is a branch of Paganism. Wicca is not necessarily a branch of Celtic Witchcraft. Wicca is a "New Age" religion, however the idea behind it is to get back to our roots and worship in a way similar to ancient rites and witchcraft. Witchcraft and Wicca are two seperate things. You can be a Wiccan and not be a Witch, you can be a Witch and not be Wiccan. However most Wiccan's are Witches. There are many different "sects" of Wicca, including a form that is based on Celtic worship. There are also those who worship the Greek Pantheon rather than Celtic Gods.
